Are you ready to kick some a** and put your intentions into action?

Time is flying! We are already in 2024, what?! Hope your new year going well so far & is filled with lots of adventure & laughter! Have you set your new year resolutions/goals yet? If that doesn't resonate with you, some do a word of the year. Example: collaboration, community, self-care, letting go, etc.
Remember as you are accomplishing your goals to take it in bite-size pieces, leave time for yourself & adjust when needed. Many of us run the mistake of going full force taking too much on causing exhaustion & lead to throw in the towel. Take some time to break down each goal to mini milestones to avoid becoming overwhelmed & easier to accomplish the goals. With that if you need to pivot on your journey whether it's little bit or a complete 180, that's totally okay. Regardless of your intention know your why so when it gets challenging you take a moment to remind yourself of the reason. Me time self-explanatory, but difficult to accomplish consistently. Best advice I was given to fight this is to schedule it out as you plan everything else, even if you have to plan out a month in advance. Whatever it takes to make it happen do it!
Here is a piece of wisdom that I'm sure many of you hear but it's hard to do: enjoy the process. Now here me out; for some this really grinds their teeth because they just want to get to the finish line so they can check it off the list. This will take some practice but like any new skill as you master it will become easier. Now why enjoy the process, why can't we just hurry to reach the goal. The biggest revelations happen during the journey. As much as we are excited to reach the top of the mountain, remembering to slow down, pause reflect & shift. All these elements are what going to help you reach the end. As we build up excitement and dig down dip inside to push through to the last steps, we realized we never stopped to appreciate what already has been accomplished. Even we beat ourselves down because we didn't reach it to the point, we feel ashamed or stupid for even trying. That is self-sabotage and when that happens the chances of us trying again or something new decreases drastically.
We all have experienced this and some more than others, especially those who are perfectionists and/or have highly critical people in their life. Speaking from experience this was one of the hardest and most important lessons. As you are hiking up to the top, don't forget to stop to enjoy the moment & give gratitude to self for how far you already have come. Celebrate both the small to the big wins however that looks like for you is as important as celebrating during the process. You got this!
Thank you for being you and supporting my small business! Always remember be free be yourself because it's the best person to be!
